VBOC History

Following a 1999 law to promote veteran participation in the entrepreneurship and small business field, the Small Business Association created and established a number of VBOCs. We help strengthen our client’s business by providing education and resources, with the understanding that military service has set-up veterans to be fine entrepreneurs.

VBOC Training and Services

Our Boots to Business (B2B) training is designed to equip you with the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to launch a business. B2B outlines the steps for developing business concepts, establishing a business plan, and shares information on SBA resources available to you. VBOC’s Boots to Business trainings are provided at no cost, with no strings attached.

VBOC’s consulting services are free, and we offer one-on-one consulting with clients. Our consultants have been entrepreneurs, were in the military or closely related to the military, have worked in various industries, and have a wide range of education and skills to assist with almost any type of business venture. Learn more about what we do.

No matter what stage your small business is in, whether it’s a concept or you’re ready for expansion, our experts work with entrepreneurs day in and day out – they see what’s working and what’s not and can offer you the perspective, clarity, and guidance you need.

Our services are provided through a partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and a vast number of local community partners as well.
