The Silicon Valley Symposium will focus on local startups, defense technology with dual-use capabilities, cybersecurity, information systems, and Software as a Service (SaaS).

The purpose of this network is to bring together graduate entrepreneurs, business leaders (CEO’s/CXO’s), and investors across the globe to create new opportunities for partnership and collaboration while creating long-term networking value across the Long Gray Line.

This event will provide resources for graduates at all stages of entrepreneurship, from those still in the ideation stage to alumni who have successfully founded, invested in, and/or sold businesses. All networking is welcome. Grip Hands!

Tom Scheu
Tom Scheu

Tom graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY in 1983. He then served as an Active Duty Field Artillery commissioned officer in the US Army (1983-1988), and as an Army Reserve Officer (1988-1991). Tom was a Sales and Marketing leader with three firms during a fifteen-year period (1988-2003), before starting his own real estate business (2003-2013). In 2013, he joined the Small Business Administration (SBA) Fresno District Office as a Business Opportunity Specialist. After retiring from the Federal  Government in 2024, Tom joined the NorCal VBOC as a Business Consultant.
